I am sorry If the above picture is disturbing to some, but it is reality and I bet it is even more disturbing to the naked guy on the floor.
Mr. Obama! I am definetely not asking too much to our newly elected president. I don't expect him to solve the economic crisi in a 100 days, I know how much it takes. I don't expect him to talk tough to Iran and get rid of their "presumable" nuclear weapons, I am not that Naive. I don't expect Obama to end two wars that have been gooing on for years in a couple of months, altough I would like him to do so. However the ethical and moral break with the Bush Administration is not just expected i feel it is deserved. Above I have posted a picture from the Abu Ghraib prison, they are not "nice", but they rapresent a reality we must deal with. In order not to repeat certain mistakes we must acknowledge them and condemn them first. The fact of not relasing the pictures does not take away from what the pictures show. "If i can't see it it is not there" attitude was not what I expected from the Obama administration. In the world we are rightly hated for acts like this (in the same way we are loved for policies such as generous financial aid in Africa), and not showing some pictures will not change our status abroad but will strip the moral integrity and honesty off the Obama Administration.
Let's find out now if the pick for the supreme court justice is in line with the promises made during the campaign!
